Welcome to another exciting lesson in the Learn Kana series. Today, we'll
be taking it slightly easy. I'd also like to point out that after the next
lesson, you will know all the basic signs. Congrats! The only other things
I need to talk about are two little marks that help expand the language.
Shouldn't take long. Anyways, here's the seventh row of the Katakana syllabary.

NOTE: As you can see, N looks a lot like SO. Just remember this helpful hint and you'll be able to distinguish between the two. N's long bar is stroked upwards while SO's is a downward brush. With a upward brush stroke, this will make the small dash look like it is lying on a bed or the two brush strokes will look parallel in a horizontal fashion. If you look back at SO, you'll see that the two brush strokes are parallel if looked at vertically.
