From: Earl S. Wood Sent: Thursday, July 9, 2015 3:06 PM To: Michael J Pierce Subject: Stuff I've learned about job hunting Mike, I'm attaching two versions of my resume. The longer one is more generic and is made for posting on job search websites and employment agency websites. It contains as many skills as I could list for keyword searches. The second resume is custom for the company Amatrol. I'm including the job add at the bottom of the email so you can see that I have taken as many buzz words as I can and integrated them into the resume. Also, the class on how to write a resume is A&S 3100. The name was something like Career Development. The person to talk to for fixing a resume is Ann Jones, and she is in the engineering building. Also, Here is a list of sites to begin looking for jobs. First you have to figure out the job titles, and what a student is qualified for. Then, when you run across jobs that are linked through other search agencies, always list your resume on that site and create a profile.
