Dear Danny, We often have group meetings at Cambridge to communicate with other colleagues on progresses made by each other. I wanted to show them the variety of SEDs that we cover with Kingfish so I quickly generated DL07-based models for the Kingfish sample, as you did. The dust properties I used are not up-to-date but the basic components are similar to the model you used in your paper. I overlaid the SEDs and color-coded them as a function of metallicity, SFR, LTIR. I join those plots to this email. The last figure only shows galaxies whose SED peaks before 80 microns. It would be nice to put that in the overview paper but it is definitively something related to your paper, especially since you have the real/more reliable SEDs for the sample. If you think that it could be an interesting addition to your paper, perhaps you could regenerate those figures with your SEDs and give a few comments on how the Kingfish sample cover a wide variety of SEDs etc. Best regards, Maud. *** I've included the plots sorted by TIR and SFR. We already have a plot that differentiates according to morphology and metallicity, so I decided to just stick with TIR and SFR here.
