A comparison between what
we get when we directly subtract the outrigger bcds (green) vs
subtracting off the polynomial fits (red).  Here, I've included n2798, n4826,
n5408 in my suite of background templates.  So my "interpolation" here
actually just simply selects the (polynomial-fitted) background outriggers for these three
galaxies.  [ The magenta curves represent the input specta, ie.
non-bg-subtracted ]
