The 24um backgrounds listed in MJy/sr are not from MIPS, but from Reach.
Three separate regions were fitted with polynomials, to better match the weird emission/absorption between 9 and 12 microns.

The difference between sky extractions using "dedicated" and "outrigger" SL observations.

The on-source, sky-subtracted spectrum (for NGC 1705) is extracted in two ways: by subtracting a BGOM sky AFTER the cube has been built, and BEFORE the cube has been built. The solid line in the righthand panel is the on-source spectrum (removed in lefthand panel for clarity). The lefthand plot in the second row is the percentage difference; the righthand plot compares the difference in the two approaches to sky subtraction to the on-source spectrum.
