a-t and v-t and x-t graphs
Remember the story of the tortise and the hare? They have a race, and
the tortise moves at a slow pace and the hare runs for a while, then stops and rests, then runs again, then rests, etc. The tortise wins the race by just a little bit.
Draw position-time, velocity-time and acceleration-time graphs for each animal. Use a solid line for the tortise and a dotted line for the hare. When your group agrees on what the graph should look like, appoint someone to write it on the chalkboard.
