Four identical cube blocks with sides 1 m are dropped into identical vats of water. Each of the blocks have different masses.

1. Add together the numbers of blocks that float.

2. In which vat does the water level change the most? The least?

3. Could you devise a way to determine the mass of a block based on the change in water level?

How would the answer change if these were spheres with radius 0.5m? Hollow spheres versus solid spheres?
