Observing Notes - 06/21/2017 Observatory: WIRO Observers : Jackson Cole, Bethany Garver, Kyla Jarka, Aylin McGough Notes: - no flats: could not take evening/morning twilight flats due to cloud cover - took 80 biases, 30 darks - quality of science images: 8/10 [clear skies, partial transit, some out of transit data] - began taking science exposures ~10 minutes into transit due to cloud cover - lost log.txt file ~1:00am MT, edited through local -> horatio, file overriden. Biases and darks previously written down, a001-a110. First science image recorded as a116, consistently took exposures in the order of g,r,u,z,i. No immediate filter repeats or bad images. Do not have slew notes, UTC, airmass, TOUT, focus, and CCD temp for images a110-a142. - For the most part, the information that would have been contained in the log file during the period in which it was being overwritten has been recovered. There is a small script in the data directory for tonight called fixmylog.cl that we wrote which used hselect to pull the relevant information from the image headers, which was then double checked and corrected for mistakes. As of right now, we have approximated that the temperature hovered around -110 deg, and the outdoor temperature has hovered around 57 deg.
