I have been assisting Chip Kobulnicky and Dan Kiminki in the taking and reduction of spectroscopic data as a part of their massive binary survey with the Wyoming Infrared Observatory.
Above is a view of M16 taken from WIRO by Kobulnicky, Runnoe, and Dornfeld. It is a composite of 1x60s B, 3x5s V, and 3x5s R exposures. It is also my first attempt and making a pretty astronomy picture.
