I have enclosed a list of texts that I have found particularly useful. If you would like to learn more about sundials, any of these books are excellent starting places. In addition, if you have internet access, you can connect to my Web page using the URL http://www.astro.indiana.edu/personnel/rberring/

On my page I have a utility that allows you to make your own sundial. All you need to do is supply the pertinent information, and it will create a sundial. If you do have internet access, I would encourage you to use this service. Try various places like the north pole, or the equator. You may be surprised with what you get.
