Reverberation Mapping Project This project provides black hole masses by looking at the time delay between the emission lines in the Broad Line Regions (BLR) and the continuum. The time delay provides information about the radius and geometry of the BLR. All the information is plugged into a handy dandy little equation (thank you virial theorem), and poof, you have the black hole mass.
