Information for prospective students
Motivated students should contact me about research opportunities. Planned work for 2024 through 2027 is focused mainly on JWST projects, including a full exploration of the Whirlpool Galaxy M51, the edge-on galaxy NGC891, and stellar clusters within PHANGS galaxies. Past student projects have included measuring the multi-wavelength broadband photometry of galaxies, characterizing stellar clusters, constraining the luminosity function of star-forming regions, examining the stellar profiles and haloes of nearby disk galaxies, surveying the population of Hα emitters in the local Universe, studying the interstellar medium of nearby galaxies, and measuring the evolution of the dust content in galaxies over cosmic time.
